"Belize has a lot of seagrass due to shalllow waters that doesn't get cleared out, so the smell is terrible everywhere you go, except on restaurants over the water. Snorkeling at resort or nearby was difficult. Either super windy or seagrass. Resort was quiet and quaint. Grounds well kept. But since it's not very busy, then on-site bar and restaurant wasn't always open. Definitely need golf cart to stay here. Shower valve in master isn't set right, so we figured out to barely turn on to get hot water. Cable box not attached, so disconnects and have to wiggle to get to work. Due to smells outside, it would've been nice to have bigger TV, since the island was pretty dead and not much to do at night. The deck wasn't really private as the workers were working on removing a building behind the unit and found a bee hive, so they asked us to leave for several hours. Overall not the best trip to warm waters or for diving but unit was nice and quiet."
