"We stayed for a month at GL 1. This unit was not equipped for long-term stays. Although the property manager was very attentive in getting things we needed. It became frustrating to ask daily. Simple things like a can opener. Useable fry pans & pots. The ones in the unit had worn Teflon that was not healthy to use. Plus, most pots were missing lids or they had no handles. A knife sharpener. All knives were so dull. There was no oven wear at all. No wine glasses or bar wear . All glasses were plastic. Which is fine for around the pool. To list a few things. If you are the owner of this unit, please take note. Your unit could be very nice with a few basic things. The bed is very firm, but we didn’t mind that. The bugs are terrible. We couldn’t open a window or door. Screens on windows don’t fit well. Forget sitting outside on deck at any time due to bugs. Unless you are covered in bug spray. What made our stay was the people; everyone was friendly and accommodating.."

"Even though the Belize weather was not cooperating much, we enjoyed our stay! The condo was nice, bed comfortable, clean, a big jug of filtered water was available. The food at the restaurant was good. The only downside was the sargassum was floating right off the beach wall and smelled awful! Not sure if that was because of the unusually high winds. But something to be aware of. But we found it an easy location. Just get in the golf cart and go!"

"The place was lovely. La Cala bar and restaurant was great. The bed was extremely hard and sleeping was difficult due to that. Otherwise it was a great place."
