"Place is really as listed. There are four place settings-no more. It is NOT decorated at all. There is no clutter, no salt and pepper or even a spoon of sugar for your coffee- they did not claim there would be. Signage was limited about normal conservation efforts in this area with regards to septic and water. Place was very clean, bed was super comfy and it was convenient. Pool area is nice. Reef side of island has been vexed with Sargassum weed washing in(all places on reef side.). This is a very quiet place in a residential condo complex. Make sure you buy all groceries, seasonings and condiments you need and maybe an extra place setting or two so you can avoid running out."

"The Residences at Barrier Reef are individually owned condos. The one we rented through AirBnB was clean and spacious. The king four-post bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was nice. We loved having a full kitchen to make breakfast each morning. There were AC units in the living room and bedroom so we could keep the space at a comfortable temp. Some of the units appeared to have beautiful ocean or pool views, esp those on the upper levels. Ours was a 'garden view" but the patio wasn't very nice or private. The pools were beautiful but somewhat cold. There is no hot tub. Ample parking space for golf carts. Staff (Rosie, esp) were friendly and attentive. The biggest thing to realize about this property is that there is no on-site restaurant or bar, and the location at 4 Mile North is about 15 min golf cart ride (down bumpy dirt roads) from any dining options. Not a problem for us but worth noting. The proximity to Secret Beach was clutch (15 min) -- don't miss Mistico beach!"

"Our stay was pleasant as the room was immaculately clean we appreciated the spaciousness and all the extra toiletries provided, the on-site staff was friendly tentative, even helping us book a tour and arranged transportation. The pool was amazing perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend."
