"We had a lovely stay! My girls loved the pool, and it was a great spot to take an easy golf cart ride to Secret Beach. We enjoyed that the grounds were quiet as well. Thanks for a relaxing experience!"

"My family and I spent Christmas 2025 in Belize. Residences at Barrier Reef are a little far north, and the roads can be a bumpy, but don’t let that steer you away. We loved the place and pool and the location. The north side of the island was more our speed, but we still could venture down south if needed. Very close to secret beach, and close to so many good waterfront bars. Belize is filled with the best people as well! We will be back!"

"Overall RBR was a nice place. It was our first time in San Pedro so we didn't know what to expect. Rosie was very helpful and set up our transportation ahead of time. That was extremely helpful! It is up North out of town, which is nice and quiet, however without a golf cart it would have been hard to do much of anything. The golf cart was a lifesaver. We were able to cook in the place, which was nice. There's a variety of super markets, which were all pretty pricey, but guess that is how it is on an island. Housekeeping came a few times during the 8 days we were there. Unfortunately it was pretty windy and a very bad time for sea grass. However that is out of the resorts hands. They had staff trying to clean it up daily, but it was a lot and smelled. The pools were nice. It will be great once they can expand with bar service and maybe a restaurant in the future. They were accommodating with replenishing the basic when needed (drinking water, soap, toilet paper, etc.). The two king suites were perfect for 2 couples on a vacation together. Lots of iguana friends around the property. We'd recommend RBR to others if they are not looking for a resort with full service (bar & restaurant on site)."

"Clean, spacious and as pictured! Loved the accommodations. Common area is very pretty and tropical. Staff was very friendly, thank you so much for the birthday decorations! The property was very quiet and peaceful. Cons (most out of mgmts control): Streaming apps (Netflix) weren’t working on living room tv. There is no swim up bar, one of the other listings onsite advertises that there is a swim up bar. It’s located 20+ mins from town and the road is very bumpy. Most of the touristy places are near downtown."
