Turquoise water, golf-cart afternoons, and a reef that starts a few hundred yards from the sand. Ambergris Caye is our home base — laid-back, sun-bleached, and endlessly diveable.

Ambergris Caye stretches 25 miles along the Belize Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Days here look like this: coffee on the deck, a snorkel or dive before lunch, ceviche and a cold Belikin in town, sunset from the dock. Our villas sit steps from the sand — some in gated resort communities, others tucked into private beachfront lots.
